PHRF Fleet
The Buzzards has an active PHRF racing and cruising fleet.
The Buzzards helps run the Old Sigh Race Series at 6pm on Wednesday nights. The 2025 schedule starts on June 4th and runs until September 2nd. There are three classes: Racing (spinnakers), Cruising I and Cruising II. Please go to

The Buzzards will also be hosting a Buzzards Bay Trophy Race on August 16th. This is a round the buoys PHRF race with a 12 Noon start based upon PHRF handicaps. This race is one of a six race series competing for the Buzzards Bay Trophy. Other host yacht clubs that run a race include Beverly, Quissett, Mattapoisett and New Bedford.
